Gamzee x Reader: Sunrise

It was the that gog forsaken month, and that gog forsaken date of that fucking month. What the pathetic humans called 'Valentine's Day'.  You sigh helplessly, knowing that yet another of this holiday would pass by, painfully slow, but this month, you keep thinking just how much more painful it will be, having to have it pass alone, with someone in your mind. You knew some of the other trolls weren't too enthusiastic about it, but they were going to try it out. As someone said, it was neat to be multi-cultural. Letting out a sharp breath, you stand up from where you were seated in your hive, and exited out to get some fresh air into your system. You painfully thought about HIM again, before shaking your head, and kept walking. Where, you didn't exactly know. You actually paid no attention, before you realized someone was messaging you. Checking you messages, your heart clenched as you saw the username. His username.

TC: HoNk
[--] O-oh hello Gamzee…  W-what are you up to?
TC: Aw DaMn My MoThErFuCkInG fEmAlE fRiEnD, jUsT cHiLlIn AnD sLaMmInG a IcE cOld FaYgO
[--] O-oh, I see.
TC: dAmN sIs… I tHiNk I cAn SeE yOu…
[--] G-gamzee, don't be ridiculous, you can't possibly see me…
You look up, and realize in horror that, indeed, you were near his hive, and there he was, sitting there on the beach with his husktop. You would have cried and curled up in embarrassment if it wasn't the fact on how much you actually liked him. You could see him wave to you, and a slight, yet shy, grin alighted your lips. You waved back, put away your messaging system, and approached him.
"Aw DaMn, WhAt ArE yOu DoInG wAy OvEr HeRe?" Gamzee asked, as you finally met up with him. His face paint made his face look endearing, at least to you. You didn't know if that was just a weird 'you' thing, as Karkat called a few of your habits. Only in much larger and angrier words…
"I-I had to get out of my hive for a while and get some air, and just z-zoned out… I didn't realize I had walked so f-far…" You stammered it out.
"Oh, I sEe, I tHiNk… HoNk…" Gamzee grinned at you, which made your heart skip a beat. "WhY sO mOtHeRfUcKiN nErVoUs (o: ?" He asked you, your stammering being very noticeable.
"O-oh, it's not important… I guess I'm just tired from walking so far……." You quickly made something up, as a little cover up.
Gamzee had stopped talking after that, and you shyly glanced over to see what kind of expression he had, and saw he had started staring at the ocean, the horizon over the sea started to lighten as morning began to roll about. Blinking once more twice, he looked back at you.
"Yo, SiS, i GoT a SeRiOuS QuEsTiOn FoR yOu NoW…." He said quietly, blinking a few times.
"U-uh… W-what is it, Gamzee…?"
"WeLl My MoThErFuCkIn FrIeNd…. ToDaY iS vAlEnTiNeS dAy… i ThInK… yOu KnOw, In CaSe No OnE aSkEd YoU yEt…. WaNnA bE mY mOtHeRfUcKiN vAlEnTiNe?"
Your mouth hung agape for a few seconds, before finally blinked, and nodded. "O-of course Gamzee…" A smile twitched at the corners of your lips. "That sounds great…"
Gamzee grinned and pulled you into a hug. "Aw, GrEaT sIs (o:."
You smiled and hugged him back, and looked back over the ocean, the sky getting lighter with each moment. It was pretty. Then you began to think again…
Maybe this wasn't going to be such a bad Valentine's Day after all.
